Happy New Year. For the past decade or so, I have been residing in South Asia, where the new year begins on March 21st, or thereabouts. It is the time when spring is beginning to sprout from the ground and animals are waking up. Something so natural about a spring New Year. But, be that as it may, on January 1, 2019, during the dark cold season of winter; the time of the Capricorn Goat, when the rain seems relentless, we celebrate a new round of 365 days. We look forward.
Capricorn, ruled by Saturn, is a sign that is about restructuring and realignment. It is the time to look a new at the forms we have created all around us. Which forms need to be re built and solidified; which forms need to be torn down? This is both on a collective level, but on a personal level. On January 5, the sun and mercury go into Capricorn, so on this day, the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Saturn, Pluto and the South node of the moon, all cluster in the sign of Capricorn. What this means is that if you look at the astrology wheel, there are so many planets bunched together, connecting with each other, asking you to reflect, realign, reframe and rebuild your life. It doesn’t’ get much stronger than this!! And on January 6th, Uranus goes direct, which puts all the planets direct, so people, go forth!! This is a positive time to initiate and build.
If you would like a personal reading to know how these planets directly and personally affect you, please contact Patti at Astrologybythebay.
Let’s have a wonderful new year.
New moon on the south node of the moon means a solar eclipse to help us move forward with our new Capricornia formations. This solar eclipse is a chance to plant new seeds in the ground, create the year, initiate your dream.
